In the second week of the Genius Hour project, I do for my project to 15 hits and 15 catches my progress in the second week of the project went descent I was able to hit 15 balls with 5 softballs and a baseball. The problem ran into was my dad had bad throwing the balls for me to hit today I was able to time it to take me 28 minutes and 16 seconds just to hit that goal including getting all the balls back to my dad after I hit or miss. I was surprised that I did well with my catches able to make the goal to 15 and after I did I continue to catch until I couldn't catch the ball I was able to catch 23 balls straight in 4 minutes and 10 seconds.

For my Genius Hour project, I am doing softball. The reason why is that I have been trying to get back into playing softball. I used to play for the little leagues. It has been about 5 or 6 years since I last played in softball games. I have been working a little bit over the summer. How I’m going to do it is to set a goal each week for my hits and catches. I’m a little more experienced with hitting a ball, but my catches need work. Over the summer, I hit some balls a few times, including working on my throws at times it’s being off. I will increase how many hits and catches depending on how well I do and what goals I set, I will continue to work on my catches, hitting, and throws over the next 12 weeks for my genius hour project.
